Top speed is not the only important property. In Liberty City, size, durability, drivetrain and the ability to survive gunfire also matter.

How to choose a vehicle

Fast cars

Sports coupes suit timed drives and escapes along main roads, but low durability punishes head-on crashes and gang gunfire.

Saloons and taxis

Balanced cars offer predictable handling, appear throughout the city and are durable enough for ordinary missions.

Service vehicles

Police, fire and ambulance vehicles open their own side activities, so they also affect the route to 100%.

Heavy vehicles

Lorries withstand impacts and push traffic aside, but turn poorly and lose time when accelerating.
