GTA Vice City cheats: codes without damaging your save

Changes vehicle physics. The effect is entertaining, but unsuitable for a story save or precise missions.

Changes the weather. The visual effect may affect visibility, but not the mission structure.

Separate slot
Before the first cheat, save the game in a new slot. Never overwrite a clean 100% playthrough with a cheat save.
Do not save pedestrian chaos
Cheats that alter pedestrian behaviour can have lasting consequences and complicate missions even after reloading.
Exit the game after experimenting
The most reliable way back is to exit without saving and load a clean save, not enter a random opposite code.
