When will GTA 6 be released?
19 November 2026. Rockstar Games announced the date, and it remains the latest valid release date. It was previously delayed twice: from autumn 2025 to 26 May 2026, then to November.

Which platforms will the game be released on?
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced any others.

Will GTA 6 be released on PC?
It has not been announced. Rockstar released GTA V on PC about a year and a half after the console versions, and Red Dead Redemption 2 roughly a year later. Expecting a similar gap is an estimate based on the studio's past releases — not information.

Will it be released on PS4 or Xbox One?
No. The announcement lists only current-generation consoles. Older hardware would not be sufficient for a game of this scale.

How much will the game cost?
We don't know. No price has been announced in dollars or Czech koruna. The figures in circulation come from analysts estimating how market prices may develop, not from Rockstar.

Will there be another delay?
We are not predicting one. The only documented fact is that the release has already been delayed twice. Inferring a third delay from that is speculation, not information.
Game and story
Where is GTA 6 set?
In Vice City and the state of Leonida. Leonida is a fictional state inspired by Florida, and Vice City is its largest city.

Who are the main characters?
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Lucia grew up in Liberty City and was sent to prison in the state of Leonida; Jason served in the military and later worked for local drug runners. It is the first time a woman has had a lead role in GTA.
Does GTA 6 continue the story of GTA V?
It has not been announced. The series traditionally tells standalone stories in a shared world, and characters only rarely return between games.

Is the new Vice City the same as it was in 2002?
Only in name. It is the same fictional city, but rebuilt and set in the present day. Tommy Vercetti is not expected to return — the 2002 game was set in the 1980s.

Will the map be twice the size of GTA V's?
You will find this figure almost everywhere, but Rockstar has never stated the map's size — not in a trailer, on the website or in investor materials. A larger map is a reasonable estimate; any specific multiple is speculation.

Czech Republic and Europe
Will GTA 6 have Czech localisation?
It has not been announced. Rockstar has historically not offered Czech localisation for its games — neither GTA V nor Red Dead Redemption 2 ever received official Czech subtitles.

When will the game be available to pre-order in the Czech Republic?
No pre-order information for the Czech market has been published. When it appears, it will be added here with a link to the source.

Will the game be available in the Czech Republic without restrictions?
Previous games in the series were sold normally in the Czech Republic. Nothing currently suggests that GTA 6 will be different, but this has not been officially confirmed.
