Rockstar Games or Take-Two stated it in their own material — a trailer, the game website, a press release or an investor report.

What is being said about GTA 6 – and what of that stands
There are more claims circulating about GTA 6 than facts. This page doesn’t collect them, it sorts them. Each is discernible with who makes it, what it’s based on, and whether it’s been independently confirmed.
Of 8 pursued claims, 2 have been officially confirmed and 1 have been disproved. We deliberately leave disproved claims standing: a rumour no one publicly disproves will return in six months as new.
How we assess
Each item has a confidence level. This is not based on a hunch, but on the answers to three questions: who is making the claim, can it be traced to a primary source, and is there independent confirmation?
An established publication reported it following its own checks and named the author. It is not official, but someone is accountable for the report.
It comes from material that was not intended for publication. It may be genuine, but it may also be outdated — games change during development.
It is inferred from a trailer, data mining or discussion within the community. Interesting, but we do not claim that it is true.
It proved false or was denied by a primary source. We deliberately keep it here — otherwise a debunked rumour tends to return.
The level changes when new evidence appears. Each item shows the date of its latest review.

The protagonists are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos
Rockstar introduced them in the trailer and on the official game page. Lucia grew up in Liberty City and was sent to prison in the state of Leonida; Jason served in the military and later worked for local drug runners. It is the first time a woman has had a lead role in GTA — and the first time since GTA V that the game has more than one protagonist.
The game is set in Vice City and the state of Leonida
Leonida is a fictional state inspired by Florida, and Vice City is its largest city. Rockstar has stated this directly. Vice City last served as the setting in 2002 — more than twenty years ago in real time.
The leaked videos from 2022 show what the game will look like
Dozens of videos from a development build leaked in September 2022. Rockstar confirmed that they were genuine and described the incident as an unauthorised intrusion into its systems. The crucial caveat is that this was an unfinished build already years old. Anything in it may be different today — and much has changed. Anyone using that material to claim how the game looks now is relying on outdated evidence.
The map is twice the size of GTA V's and has more than 700 interiors
You will find this figure in almost every article about GTA 6, usually without a source. Rockstar has never stated the map's size — not in a trailer, on the website or in investor materials. The nearest thing to an origin is the 2022 leak and estimates made by the community from the trailer. Until someone confirms it, this is an estimate, not a game specification.
There will be another delay
Nobody is saying this officially, and we are not predicting it. There is, however, a documented fact behind the suggestion: the release has already been delayed twice — from autumn 2025 to May 2026, then to November 2026. Inferring a third delay from that is speculation, not information.
The game will have Czech subtitles
Rockstar has not announced any localisation. Historically, the studio has not offered Czech in its games, and neither GTA V nor Red Dead Redemption 2 ever received official Czech subtitles. What the community wants is one thing; an announcement is another — and so far there has been no sign of the latter.
The game will cost 100 dollars
No price has been announced — in dollars or Czech koruna. The figure comes from analysts who infer it from the game's budget and the long-term rise in AAA game prices. That is a market prediction, not a price list. Once Rockstar publishes the price, it will appear here with a link to the source.
The PC version will launch alongside the console versions
Rockstar has announced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC is not included in the announcement. The studio also released the PC versions of both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 later than their console versions — by about a year and a half in GTA V's case. A simultaneous launch would therefore break with the established pattern rather than continue it.
