232 items spread across the map

Seven separate collections. Most players finish one or two because they do not realise that three are underwater and one only unlocks after a side mission.

What you need to know about each one

50

Letter Scraps

A murder confession cut up and scattered across the map. Collecting every piece reveals the culprit in the assembled text.

Reward: Unlocks a mission revealing Leonora Johnson's murderer.

50

Spaceship Parts

Unlocked after the Omega side mission. Any character can collect them, but only Franklin starts and finishes Omega's mission.

Reward: Space Docker vehicle.

30

Submarine Parts

Found on the seabed. They require a submarine or diving equipment, so are collected later.

Reward: Kraken submarine.

30

Nuclear Waste

Also underwater. Only Trevor collects these during Abigail's strand.

Reward: Cash reward and trophy.

10

Epsilon Tracts

The game's strangest side strand, including a requirement to wear only robes for five in-game days.

Reward: Progress in the Epsilon Program strand.

50

Monkey Mosaics

Monkey graffiti across the city. Photographing every mosaic unlocks the final mission with Impotent Rage.

Reward: Rampage mission and a costume.

12

Hidden Packages

The only collection that renews. Packages reappear after collection, providing a reliable campaign income.

Reward: Recurring cash.

100% completion unlocks the UFOs

Collections are a major part of reaching 100%, which makes things appear in the world that were not there before.
