What is really hidden in Los Santos

Inside the cable-car station at Mount Chiliad's summit is a drawing with three symbols, an eye and the words “Come back when your story is complete.” Since 2013, the community has tried to interpret what it means.

The symbols are commonly associated with a UFO, jetpack and clock. A jetpack later appeared in GTA Online during the Doomsday Heist, which some players regard as confirmation. Rockstar has published no official interpretation, and the symbols have no confirmed meaning.

After 100% completion, flying saucers appear at several locations. They are neither mods nor mistakes, but objects within the game.

The story and side content must be completed to 100%. The saucers then appear in rain above Mount Chiliad, above Fort Zancudo and submerged near Paleto Bay. They are decorative and cannot be controlled or destroyed.

Sasquatch genuinely exists in GTA V, but not as a random forest encounter. It forms part of a side mission and a related task for Online players.

In the story campaign, it appears in a side mission involving the creature, where the player can become Bigfoot. GTA Online later added Beast Hunt and rewarded a costume. The Bigfoot legend began in San Andreas, where it was not actually present.

A woman's figure appears on a rock at Mount Gordo every night between 23:00 and 24:00 game time. She disappears when approached, leaving a name written in blood.

It refers to a murder-related side story. The writing points to a character who can be found in the game. It is a planned Easter egg with a fixed time window, not a random event or bug.

For years, claims said a particular task sequence would unlock North Yankton or Liberty City for free exploration. It does not.

North Yankton exists as the setting for two story missions. Datamining shows it is not loaded outside them and has no working content. It is only reached through mods or glitches, not an in-game requirement. Liberty City is absent from GTA V.
